The Brighton and Hove Association was founded in 1972 to promote the National Trust locally. It raises funds to support the Trust and arranges an enjoyable programme of social events and activities for members.
Some of the National Trust places supported include:
Devil’s Dyke
Saddlescombe Farm
Nymans Garden.
In the last three years the association has raised £12,475 to support local National Trust places and projects.
Talks are held from October to April at 2.30 pm on the first Thursday of the month and at 7.00 pm on the third Friday of the month at the Withdean Sports Centre. There are also a number of social events including a spring lunch, Christmas tea and a New Year lunch. In the summer the group arranges outings to National Trust places and other sites of interest.
