Southdown & Hydneye Community Angling Club

Promoting responsible angling and conservation in and around Shinewater Park, Eastbourne and across the Pevensey Levels and Cuckmere River.

Southdown & Hydneye Community Angling Club (SHCAC) has recently evolved from what was previously known as Southdown Angling Association and Hydneye Community Angling Club.

SHCAC controls the fishing rights across a number of local venues offering a mixture of the lake and river fishing for a wide variety of species up to specimen sizes.

SHCAC values its community basis and is a friendly and welcoming club with members enjoying both the fishing and maintenance of the venues. We aim to provide our members with high-quality fishing and facilities, whilst encouraging community engagement.
