Making Magical Moments

Making Magical Moments is a community-based support group, operating in the Seaford area, for people with dementia, mental health issues, and older people with disabilities in need of support.

We are enthusiastic and passionate about the service and support we provide, and have seen first-hand how music, laughter, dancing, socialising and person-centred interaction can transform a person’s outlook and attitude to life.

Our Tuesday Day Service is held at Seaford Scout Hut from 10am-4pm (flexible times available). Enjoy reminiscence therapy, chair exercises, and fun activities. Our homemade lunch caters to all dietary needs, and refreshments are provided throughout the day. Afternoon entertainment, from music to animal interactions, concludes with tea and cake.

Out and About Days:  Every Thursday, we offer "out and about" days. Join us for community visits, from castles and animal sanctuaries to train rides and beach picnics.

Themed Days: Enjoy themed days at Making Magical Moments. Our staff dress up and decorate the room to recreate the past. We aim to bring back memories and provide stimulation. We take photos for families and always strive to make these days fun and enjoyable for everyone.
