Description
Hosted by The Refugee Buddy Project.
This event will highlight local crafts people and businesses, allowing guests to discover unique gifts and decorations made by refugee entrepreneurs, enjoy cakes, soups, hot drinks, Arabic coffee and hot chocolate from the Dove Café, live music and children's activities. The market will feature a range of handmade products from local vendors, including gifts, decorations, clothing, and jewellery. In addition to shopping, visitors will be entertained by local musicians and performances from refugee youth, while children can enjoy craft activities led by volunteers. This event aims to bring together people and communities from various backgrounds, fostering community connections and celebrating the spirit of the winter season.
Proceeds will go towards our work which supports refugee families in their settlement and integration into Hastings. We warmly invite everyone to join us for a delightful afternoon at the Refugee Buddy Project in Hastings, where admission is free.
