Friars Gate Archers - Archery club in East Sussex

Our field archery season runs from October through to March within an attractively wooded setting in Crowborough and all year at Eastland Wood, Fletching.

There are approximately fifty active members aged from eleven to eighty. Shooting styles reflect individual preferences with equipment ranging from the traditional longbow through to the modern recurve and high-tech compound bows.

The club welcomes all archers including those with disabilities who enjoy a reduced membership fee, as do Juniors and Family groups.

We participate in the Summer Selby League and the Winter British Archer Frostbite and Portsmouth Leagues.

For those seeking an introduction to the sport beginners' courses are run throughout the year.
