Welcome to Rethinkable - a floating support service who’s mission is to build confidence and independence at a pace comfortable to you.

Our research and experience has shown a need for a service that provides tailored support, promotes a safe home environment, encourages community engagement and builds confidence in areas acknowledged by you.

We recognise that a safe environment is crucial for overall wellbeing and can provide a solid foundation for those already living independently. This is why we start at home.

Our services

• Floating support - our floating support is person-centred with a focus on supporting individuals to learn the skills needed to maintain their spaces independently and build confidence in the accessing the community. This means we work with people as little or much as they need to create safe environments and confidence in themselves. We also work with charities who can provide support in other areas; such as work or education.

• Deep clean and reset - when a space has become unsafe or unmaintained, we suggest a deep clean to reset the living space before teaching life skills to maintain it. During these deep cleans, we work with the individual to declutter, reorganise and clean their homes to a safe standard at their pace. We can then offer weekly support, if needed, to ensure the space is maintained and new habits are formed.

• Moving in support - our moving in support offers ongoing support when moving into a new home. Our team can come along at any stage during the process to support with things such as sourcing removal companies to unpacking boxes and organising.
