Resounding provides bespoke sound therapy in Brighton and Hove. Sound sessions are planned with the client to provide the optimum sounding experience to meet their needs and preferences. Sound therapy can focus on relaxation, sound massage, emotional release and also be uplifting and energising.
Sound therapy uses specific instruments, harmonies and rhythms to support well-being. During a session, I will use crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, drums and percussion instruments to assist with relaxation, ease pain or support emotional release.
Research has shown that we can have emotional responses to certain harmonies. This can support with release, create a sense of calm and comfort and bring a change in insight or perspective.
Rhythm has also been shown to harmonize with our brainwave frequencies. We can encourage brainwave frequencies slow down and support relaxation through sound. This is referred to as entrainment and occurs naturally when we listen to music, daydream, or fall asleep.
Sound therapy can be beneficial in supporting rest, improving sleep through relaxation and relieving muscle tension and pain. It aims to support the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of a client.
I offer appointments face to face and online. I also hold restorative and relaxing sound journeys in the community and am available if you would like a sound bath for private gatherings.
Please get in touch if you’d like to know more or book your sound experience.
