Introduction To Mindfulness | East Sussex College
Open to anyone who would like to try Mindfulness for the first time or for anyone wishing to boost their wellbeing in a short space of time.
Participants will learn some mindfulness skills and meditations that will help to settle and calm the mind. Each week will introduce something new to help reduce stress and restore well-being.
Mindful movement, increased awareness of the breath and body will be linked to mindfulness in our everyday life. These practices can help sooth and soften tension in our bodies as well as re-connect us with our experience in the present moment.
5 week course:
Every Friday: 28th February, 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th March 2025, 11.00am - 1.00pm
Venue: East Sussex College, Mountfield Road, Lewes, BN7 2XH
This course is free to adults aged 19+ in receipt of benefits or who earn less that £25,000 per year.
(Course fee: £25.00 for those who do not qualify under criteria above).
