Hastings Online Times (HOT)

Hastings Online Times is an independent magazine for news, views and features about Hastings and St Leonards and includes probably the most comprehensive events guide in Hastings and St Leonards. It is run by volunteers and has a constitution.

Most of the work is done by citizen journalists writing stories and uploading them via our Wordpress-based website.
We have an agreement that no-one publishes their own story — someone else has to proof-read and hit the publish button.
We train people to use the Wordpress interface and give basic guidance on writing style.
