Amaze SENDIASS is the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Information, Advice and Support Service for East Sussex and Brighton & Hove.
Amaze SENDIASS is funded by East Sussex County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council to offer impartial and confidential information, advice and support on anything to do with SEND including education, health and social care. The service is for children and young people with SEND up to 25 who live or go to school in East Sussex and Brighton & Hove and their parents and carers.
Amaze SENDIASS provides information, advice and support in the following ways:
Amaze SENDIASS will support you to be well informed about special education and disability services and have a strong voice in decisions that affect you or your child. We aim to help parents and young people build good partnerships with services and professionals and we can help you find solutions if you are unhappy with how things are going. Please note our address is an office only, no drop in facility.
Amaze provides a range of other services and resources for families in East Sussex including parent peer support groups, young people's peer support activities and help with claiming disability benefits.
