Felicity Parsons is a local independent Speech & Language Therapist with over 25 years experience working with adults with acquired neurological conditions. She works with people in their own homes on their communication and cognition. She no longer works directly with swallowing issues.
Her background includes roles within the NHS, charitable organisations and private practice with specialisms including difficulties arising from stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Head Injury. Felicity also has a special interest in making information fully accessible, particularly for those affected by acquired neurology. She is a fully registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council, The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice.
Felicity recognises the significant changes to someone's social and emotional identity following neurological change and is keen to work closely with her clients, their families and/or significant others. She is also very happy to liaise with and work alongside health and social care providers. She takes a holistic approach when working with her clients.
Felicity works in Battle and the surrounding areas - for locations more than 10 miles away from base, she charges additional mileage.
