Eastbourne Downland Group

We are the friends of the 4100 acres of downland owned by Eastbourne Borough Council.  The Council bought the land in 1929 to protect it in perpetuity for the benefit of the town and the nation.  We help the Council, National Park Authority and others to keep the estate in public ownership and ensure it is positively managed for people, wildlife and the environment.
