Southdown Gliding Club

Southdown Gliding Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), and fully supports the promotion and participation in the sport of Gliding.

Our location adjacent to the scarp face of the South Downs and close to the south coast is perfect for soaring on the updraughts and lee waves from the Downs and riding the seabreeze fronts. We offer glider pilot lessons and Introductory Flight Packages for potential new pilots or those just wishing to experience the thrill of gliding.
