Education Training Consortium Sussex (etc sussex) was formed in 2008 to meet the training and education needs of people from marginalised communities.
The b@sement is our IT Centre offering a warm and friendly environment in two rooms using touch screen computers.
We run free sessions Tuesday to Friday mornings for computer beginners and computer access for Job Search and Universal Credit applications. There are also computer clubs for adults and free workshops and courses in basic IT skills.
Services for older people include Happiness in Mind, our Day Service based at Marlborough House in Warrior Square. and Magdala House in Rye.
ESOL: We run English and IT classes for people whose first language is not English. There are also various activities to help encourage integration into the community.
The Pantry: Supporting people in food poverty
Volunteer opportunities: We welcome any help you can offer with our activities, especially a driver at our Pantry project or even help to keep our garden tidy.
