We are a registered Charity aiming to improve the quality of life for Deaf, deafened, deafblind and hard of hearing people across East Sussex.
We are based in Eastbourne, but deliver an outreach service across the county offering a range of communication support and services which includes: information, advice and practical support on all aspects of hearing loss; demonstrations of hearing assistive devices such as personal listeners, TV listeners and doorbells; lipreading classes and BSL sign language classes; support groups; plus NHS Hearing Aid Maintenance and free batteries.
Our volunteers are a vital part of our organisation and help ensure that we are able to provide a local service to as many people as possible. We always welcome new volunteers - for more information contact us by phone/email or even pop in the centre and say hello - we'd love to hear from you.
