Eridge Rocks Nature Reserve is a hidden gem in the woodlands of the High Weald of East Sussex. The reserve is home to majestic sandstone rock outcrops that tower up to ten meters high. These rocks are a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to the rare lichens, mosses, and liverworts that grow on them. The rocks are also 135 million years old and have been weathered over time, creating a variety of interesting features.
The reserve is also home to ancient and gnarled beech, yew, and holly trees. The shady nooks, deep fissures, and giant bastions of the rocks provide a habitat for a variety of wildlife.
