Iden Bowls Club

Our bowls club is set in the idyllic centre of the village. It’s privately run and maintained by all the members. We play in the Mermaid league where we have been quite successful we also play friendly matches with other villages in and around East Sussex. We have inter club competitions, fun days and also hold a yearly tournament where other clubs join us for a good competitive fun day.

​We welcome all new members who would like to join our club either as players or just social members. Don’t worry if you have never played bowls as there will be club members more than happy to teach you the rudiments of the game and support you to become a better player.

​Many of our members meet up in the afternoons for a roll up (practice) but also for a natter over a nice cup of tea.
