Linking Lives Eastbourne aims to reduce loneliness and improve health and wellbeing for people over the age of 70 who are living alone; matching them with volunteer befrienders who build connection through visiting, telephone chats or going to community activities.
Linking Lives Eastbourne is a Christian charity and seeks to work closely in partnership with local churches. Our patron is the Right Revd Will Hazlewood, Bishop of Lewes.
Volunteers complete Induction training and a DBS check and are carefully matched.
Linking Lives Eastbourne is part of a national initiative, Linking Lives U.K.
