The Society of Sussex Authors

We’re a friendly group who get together six times a year in Lewes to chat about bookish things and welcome guest speakers on a variety of themes. Most of us are published authors, but we include journalists, indexers, editors and proof-readers, too.

We meet at the John Harvey Tavern, usually on the first Monday evening of February, April, June, August and October, and we enjoy our Christmas party early in December. The annual membership fee is a token £12, and we’re always looking to increase our number.
