Description
We are a youth environmental education charity working to empower the next generation of environmental leaders. To be a 'conservationist' or 'environmentalist' doesn't just mean following a career as a field biologist or a campaigner. We believe that a passion for nature can flow through anyone's life, whatever their day-job. We want to inspire today's young people to a long-term belief in the wonder of the living world, which will shape their dreams and actions however their life turns out.
To date we’ve been operating in London, Bristol and Manchester, and as of April 2024 we have just launched our programme in Sussex! We’re now on the lookout for volunteers (aged 18+) for a range of roles:
- Camp Leader (at least 3 consecutive days commitment during July and August residential camps on the South Downs), deadline mid-June.
- Youth Engagement Volunteer (1 activity per month, organised by the charity, supported by the volunteer)
- Knowledge Mentor (ad-hoc)
- Photography volunteer (ad-hoc)
Find out more about these roles in the Volunteer Information Pack linked here: Join Our Volunteer Team!
