Employability and Skills support people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people on their journey to paid work, further training and/or volunteering.
Only 5% of people with learning disabilities in the UK are employed. We have developed an Employment Strategy looking to address this disparity and increase the number of people with disabilities into work.
We have a strong track record of delivering award-winning employment programmes to adults with learning disabilities and autistic people through employment support and skills training, work experience opportunities with local employers, peer mentoring and progression to employment, volunteering, education and/or training.
