Description
Rother Environmental Group (REG) was founded in 1987 as a campaigning group for the environment within the Rother District Council area. We are a membership organisation with members mainly drawn from the towns and countryside around Battle, Bexhill, Robertsbridge and Rye.
REG became an unregistered charity in 2013 and has a board of trustees to look after governance.
Meetings are held most months, usually on the last Tuesday of the month, and cover a range of environmental topics with details to be found on our website. The majority of meetings are in Rye but are also held in other parts of Rother to reflect where our membership live. Anyone is welcome to come along and are free to members (apart from some booked events e.g. film showings); non-members are asked to make a donation.
If you would like to know more please visit the website or get in touch.
