Brickwork for Beginners | East Sussex College
Want to learn a practical skill and build with confidence? Our Brickwork for Beginners course is designed for adults looking to gain hands-on experience in one of the world’s oldest and most rewarding trades.
What you will learn:
- How to mix mortar and lay bricks correctly
- Measuring, levelling, and aligning for perfect walls.
- Techniques for strong and secure brickwork
- Essential tools and how to use them safely
Who Is This For?
- Absolute beginners with no prior experience
- DIY enthusiasts looking to improve their skills
- Anyone considering a career in construction
You'll need safety boots/shoes and overalls for each session.
9 week course: Every Tuesdays: 22nd April to 24th June 2025, 5.30pm - 8.30pm
Venue: East Sussex College, Cross Levels Way, Eastbourne, BN21 2UF
This course is free to anyone in receipt of benefits or who earns less than £25,000 per year
