Description
Hailsham Choral Society's next concert is a performance of Mendelssohn's well-loved oratorio Elijah, sung in it's English translation. This choral masterpiece tells the story of the prophet Elijah: Israel is suffering from drought and its people have turned to the false god Baal for help. Can Elijah persuade the people to repent? Join us on Saturday 29 March at All Saints Church Eastbourne at 7.30pm for an evening of drama, a duel between two Gods, and some great music.
Our conductor will be Jozik Kotz and soloists: Noa Lachman, soprano; Louise Winter, alto; James Beddoe, Tenor; and Matthew Nuttall, Bass. The orchestra will be led by Jonathan Truscott.
Tickets: Adults £18 in advance, £20 on the door, under 18s free.
Tickets available from WeGotTickets; Eastbourne Tourist Office and on the door.
