Ark Castledown Breakfast And Afterschool Club

ONLY FOR PUPILS ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL. Children are offered a range of activities and are given a breakfast consisting of cereal, toast or crumpet and milk or juice. Afterschool children are provided with a range of activities and offered a snack with water or juice. The club is run by trained members of staff who supervise the children at all times. Places at the club should be booked in advance (although we will do all that we can to try and accommodate you at short notice in an emergency situation). Booking forms can be obtained here or from the office.

Costs

Breakfast £2 per session. Afterschool full session costs £7.00, split sessions are £3.50.

Hours

Breakfast club from 7.45am – 8.45am during term-time (apart from INSET days) After-school club from 3.15pm – 5.30pm during term-time (apart from INSET days).

Wraparound childcare

Wraparound childcare is before and after school childcare for primary school aged children in England. The provision typically runs before school from 8am and after school until 6pm, during term time, either on a school site or another local setting such as a community centre, a nursery, or a childminder. This is different from out-of-school activities, or school clubs, which are less frequent and can be a one-off activity.
