Description
Training will be split over training evenings, field days, some weekend camps and courses, and Summer Camp. Parade evenings take place twice a week. This provides training across a number of different areas, which is then enhanced during field days and weekend training camps, where cadets can spend longer periods of time developing a particular skill.
If you're a fan of action and adventure, love sports and getting to know people then you're in the right place.
Our aim is to enable the development of personal responsibility, leadership and self-discipline.

I want better career options!
Even if you don't want a career with the armed forces you will find that Marine Training Corps cadets are more confident and well rounded than their peers who have not been involved a structured youth organisation. Plus, our access to Duke of Edinburgh's Award and Courses will give you a great edge in the job seeking world. Employers will always look favourably on candidates who have used their spare time being involved in youth group, especially one that can offer real life skills and tangible awards like the ones mentioned above.
