At TS Hastings, we provide young people (ages 10-17) with unforgettable experiences that help them grow into the best version of themselves, all in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

What is Sea Cadets?

Sea Cadets is a national youth organisation offering young people the opportunity to develop life skills, confidence, and leadership through a variety of exciting waterborne and land-based activities. We follow the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy, helping cadets build teamwork, resilience, self-discipline, and a sense of adventure.

At TS Hastings, we have three sections:

- Junior Cadets (Ages 10-11) A fun and engaging introduction to the world of Sea Cadets.

- Sea Cadets (Ages 12-17) The core section where cadets develop key skills through adventure and training.

- Royal Marines Cadets (Ages 13-17) For those seeking an extra challenge with a focus on fieldcraft, leadership, and teamwork.

What We Offer

From sailing, windsurfing, and powerboating to rock climbing, camping, and engineering, there is something for everyone! Plus, cadets have the chance to earn nationally recognised qualifications that will benefit them long after their cadet journey.
