Description
Sussex Cricket Foundation's community Disability Cricket offer comprises:
1. Outreach Sessions - Our coaches deliver outreach cricket sessions in schools, colleges, day centres, charities and care homes for people with additional needs to help them improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
2. Super 1's Disability Cricket Clubs - We run a network of weekly drop-in sessions for people with additional needs so they can participate in fun cricket-based activities. These clubs are designed to encourage people to get more physically active, develop lasting friendships and improve their self-esteem and quality of life by being an active member within their local community. We run our Super 1's clubs in several Sussex locations throughout the calendar year. The clubs are free to participants and are delivered by qualified coaches and are suited to all abilities with the ages of participants typically ranging from 12-25.
Free taster sessions are available for organisations interested in sending players along to their local Super 1's club. For further information or if you are interested in joining Super 1's club, please get in contact.
