The Young Actors Group is a professionally run, independent acting group running drama groups in Brighton, Hove, Kemptown, Fiveways, Preston Park and Hurstpierpoint.

We are an open group for all young people, experienced or new to acting. No matter your ethnicity, sexuality or gender identity, you are welcome. Indeed, we believe that greater diversity in our groups helps to create flourishing ensembles and challenges us all to better understand each other.

Our unique 3 term curriculum covers a wide range of skills and is uniquely adapted for children, teenagers and young adults, aged 5 - 19. Numbers are capped at 16 per group so no one ever gets lost and everyone gets a good amount of performance time.

Due to popular demand, we also run a musical theatre group for ages 8 - 11 on a Wednesday.

Our driving vision is to help equip our next generation of young people with the confidence, integrity, life skills and character to flourish in and out of the acting world.
