The Wish Wudang Tai Chi Club is a 'Not for Profit' club. We train throughout the year from 8-9pm, on Thursday evenings at King Alfred Leisure Centre, Hove. We also train from late Spring to early Autumn, on Tuesday evenings, in Wish Park, officially known as Aldrington Recreation Ground, from 6.45-7.45pm. See website for details.
Both these classes are suitable for beginners. Practice mainly comprises Daoquan - the slow flowing Hand Form, that everyone thinks of as Tai Chi, but also Tuishou - the more aerobic Pushing Hands exercises, for health, fitness and mindfulness.
Once you know the hand form you can start to learn the weapons forms: sabre, sword & spear. The martial side of taijiquan can also be studied by those who are interested in self-defence.
If you want to join us then just come along. You can find more information on the website but if you have any questions feel free to call, WhatsAp or email.
