Animal Aid was founded in January 1977 to work, by all peaceful means, for an end to animal cruelty. Our ultimate vision is of a world that is free from animal abuse and exploitation.
We recognise that this is very much a long-term vision, which will take many decades to achieve. So as well as working towards this, we also take a pragmatic approach, and campaign for measures that will help to reduce animal suffering in the meantime. In practice, much of our work brings the truth about animal exploitation to the attention of the public, and this contributes towards both the achievement of our vision and to measures that will help to reduce animal suffering in the shorter term.
Our education team can provide free talks and cookery demonstrations in primary and secondary schools as well as sixth form colleges, visit Education - Animal Aid to find out more.
We can also provide free leaflets, posters and reports for information stalls, marches and other outreach events, take a look at our website for what is available or email/call us.
