Wealdlink - Community Transport

Accessible, safe and affordable minibus services in partnership with local councils for people who are vulnerable or disadvantaged in the north of the Wealden District area in order to combat social exclusion and increase personal independence.

We operate a number of Scheduled Services on behalf of East Sussex County Council covering areas in and around the North Wealden area.

Shopping services:

Wealdlink operates weekly door-to-door shopping services to Crowborough, Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne. The services are for anyone who has difficulty accessing normal service buses.

Passengers are required to register in order to use the service. Registration is free, just phone 01892 771332 and we will register your name and address. We will then ring back on the day of travel and give you an approximate time of our arrival.

Please note that it is essential for you to book your journey before you intend to travel. Bookings may be made on any day before travel.

Community Trips:

Our community trips service includes the driver and eligible groups are required to register as members at the time of booking. Our minibuses are not available for hire without driver, or for commercial work.

Our mini-buses may only be hired by groups involved in certain activities. These included schools, clubs, voluntary organisations and institutes as well as organisations that work with the elderly, youth and in health. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call us. Membership which is free will be included in your first booking with us once approved.
